Locations are used in all modules in the LiveMine app and are categorised by type names that are set and chosen by the mine site. These categories allow a group of locations to share similar properties.
Standalone LiveMine systems can manage the entries in this window. Those systems paired with a third party database will need to make changes in the other database as per their site specific instructions and use the Sync tool in LiveMine to update this table.
The information below is for standalone LiveMine systems.
Add a Location Type entry
To add a new entry to the table, click the
button.
Fill out the name details.
(VERSION 3.18 and older) Is Material Source: If a location in this category is the original source of mine-able material, check this box. Locations that are flagged as 'Is Material Source' will be visible to App users in Load and Haul when selecting their Source.
(VERSION 3.18 and older)Is Loading Location: If a location in this category can be a place where a truck gets loaded with material, set this to True
(VERSION 3.18 and older)External ID is used for third party database sync, leave blank.
Click save to finish.
Editing a Location Type entry
To edit an entry, click on the
button.
Make your changes, and click save.
Entries can be made inactive and sent to the inactive list by clicking the
button.
Further details about the entry can be seen by clicking on the
button. This will show editable details for the entry like the normal pencil edit button. But will also show you a list of Locations that are mapped to this Location Type.
It is possible to export this entire list to an excel csv document by clicking on the
button. A csv file will be created and sent to your Windows Downloads folder.
