The Mine Management Activities section manages the list of activities that can be chosen by users in any module on the LiveMine app.
Each activity must be mapped to specific Operations (Modules) in the back end to ensure they are available in the app.
Activity names should be descriptive but concise enough to fit adequately and be usable in the app. They should be meaningful such that when a report is run against a specific activity, it will deliver the correct information required. There is no limit to the amount of activities your system can have, but remember, keep it simple for your operations personnel. Give them every chance to create meaningful data.
Standalone LiveMine systems can manage the entries in this window. Those systems paired with a third party database will need to make changes in the other database as per their site specific instructions and use the Sync tool in LiveMine to update this table.
The information below is for standalone LiveMine systems.
Add an Activity
To add an activity to the list, click on the
button.
Assign it an operation from the drop down list.
This list is managed under Module Management by the administrators.
Give the item a Name.
This name will be the only thing visible to operators in the app, and in reports that pull production data. Make it mean something useful.
Specific Module Selection will activate extra properties that are available for selection when creating activities. Scroll further down in this article for more information on these module specific properties.
External ID can be left blank, as it is used for third party database connections.
Click Save when finished.
Editing an Activity
To edit an entry, click on the
button.
Make your changes, and click save.
Entries can be made inactive and sent to the inactive list by clicking the
button.
It is possible to export this entire list to a spreadsheet csv document by clicking on the
button. A csv file will be created and sent to your windows Downloads folder.
Module Specific Activity Properties
When creating a new
and then choosing a specific module from
, unique property check boxes will appear to allow the use of different activity elements. Explanations for specific property check boxes and their corresponding modules are below.
Airleg Activity
Development tunnelling activities require the use of a chainage marker to record where they are on a plan as well as recording an advance taken by the cut. Note that neither are mandatory to have set up in the back end for an activity in LiveMine. A development activity can still be created with the intention of recording an advance round, without having these properties active.
It is recommended that sites use these properties as part of their development tunnelling record creation.
Show Chainage: When this is checked and the operator selects this Activity in the module app, a field will appear allowing the operator to type in the numerical chainage marker for the round.
When this is not checked, the field will not show in the app, on this activity.
Show Cut Length: When this is checked and the operator selects this Activity in the module app, a drop down field will appear allowing the operator to select a pre-defined Cut Length value.
This list is found in the back end under Module Management - Development Drill - Cut Lengths.
When this is not checked, the field will not show in the app, on this activity
Development Drill Activity
Diamond Drill Activity
Is Drill: Activities flagged with this will be available for selection in the Drilling part of the Diamond Drill module.
Is Grout: Activities flagged with this will be available for selection in the Grouting part of the Diamond Drill module.
Production Drill Activity
Is Redrill: An activity with this property checked allows operators of the Production Drill module to access previously recorded drilled holes in the app. When a hole on a drill plan in LiveMine has been marked as 'drilled' by the normal use of the app, it is no longer accessible to drill operators when in a "drilling" activity. This condition is true when the "drillling" activity [Is Redrill] property is NOT marked.
An example where [Is Redrill] will be Checked is on an activity called Redrill, Hole Cleaning or Reaming.
An example where [Is Redrill] will NOT be Checked is on an activity called Drill Upholes or Drill Downholes.
Raisebore Activity
Is Drill: Activities flagged with this will be available for the Drilling part of the Raisebore module.
Is Grout: Activities flagged with this will be available for selection in the Grouting part of the Raisebore module.
RC Drilling Activity
Is Drill: Activities flagged with this will be available for selection in the Drilling part of the RC Drilling module.
Is Grout: Activities flagged with this will be available for selection in the Grouting part of the RC Drilling module.
