Meters are used in many of the LiveMine app modules to record machine statistics related to utilisation and service time tracking. They are all contained in this table back end location.

Add a Meter

  • To add a new Meter, click on the

    button.

  • Select a Unit from the drop down list.

    • This list is populated in the Mine Management - Unit of Measure table.

    • Note that if necessary, a new Unit can be added to the Units table by clicking on the

      button and completing the field details. BUT it is advisable that Unit table editing be done while viewing the Unit section of the back end.

  • Fill out the name details.

  • The Can Only Increase checkbox ensures that the value can only increase above the previous known entry for this Meter on a particular machine. It is a customary use checkbox.

  • Click save to finish.

Editing a Meter entry

  • To edit an entry, click on either of the

    buttons.

  • Make your changes, and click save.

  • Entries can be made inactive and sent to the inactive list by clicking the

    button.

    • Click on the

      mceclip3.png

      toggle button to see the list.

    • Entries listed here can be re-enabled again by clicking the

      mceclip6.png

      button.

  • The

    mceclip2.png

    button allows for viewing and editing of where this Meter is mapped to specific Equipment Models.

Mapping a Meter to a Model

When in the Edit Meter window it is possible to assign the Meter to one or more Equipment Models.

  • To add a Meter to an Equipment Model, click on the

    mceclip5.png

    button.

  • Select an Equipment Model from the drop down list.

    • It is possible to add a new Model to the Equipment Models list by clicking the

      mceclip5.png

      button. NOTE that this is not advisable. It is recommended that all Equipment Model entry editing be done through that section of the back end.

  • Select whether the Meter needs to be recorded at the Start of Shift, End of Shift or both.

  • Click Save to finish.

It is possible to export any of these lists to an excel csv document by clicking on the

mceclip6.png

button. A csv file will be created and sent to your Windows Downloads folder.
