Equipment in the LiveMine system is managed on a three tier table approach split between Makes, Models and the individual Assets.

Under the Equipment section is a list of individual Equipment assets that correspond to specific production machinery on the mine site. These will be the equipment assets that operators choose to use when logging into the app modules.

Equipment Asset ID's should be as unique as the site needs to differentiate between machines.

Standalone LiveMine systems can manage the entries in this window. Those systems paired with a third party database will need to make changes in the other database as per their site specific instructions and use the Sync tool in LiveMine to update this table.

The information below is for standalone LiveMine systems.

Add an Equipment Asset

  • To add an Equipment Asset to the list, click on the

    button.

  • Assign it to a Model from the drop down list.

    • This list is managed under Equipment Model list.

  • Give it an Asset Number. This can be an alpha numeric designation.

    • Typically assign an Asset Number that is recognisable for the equipment operators when they select it from a list of equipment on the LiveMine app.

  • Click Save to finish.

Editing an Equipment Asset

  • To edit an entry, click on the

Assets - Capacities

A unit capacity can be applied to individual assets that allows for a default amount of an undefined unit to be done during an activity cycle with this machine. Typically, this is currently used for giving trucks in the Haul module a default carry weight or volume. Either can be used, as the system doesn't discriminate one way or the other.

  • To add a capacity to a specific Asset, click on the

    mceclip7.png

    button.

  • Give it a numerical value for the Capacity

  • Choose a Date and Time for this to come into effect.

  • Click save to finish.

Note that adding a capacity to an individual Asset does not add it to the governing Model so it will not be applied to any other Asset that is the same Model.
