All activities in LiveMine can have a time usage category applied to them which allows for deeper analytical studies to be done on the production data in line with client business performance studies.
This window displays a list of all the Time Usage Categories that can be applied as attributes to all activities in the system.
Add a Time Usage Category
To add a Category to the list, click on the
button
In the popup window for adding/editing the entry
Code: Has no function in the LiveMine system, but can be called and queried in the database
Name: The descriptive user friendly name of the Category
Colour: This will colour code activities that are assigned this Category in the Time Usage Reports section of the webapp (separate core feature to subscription), and the Time Sheet (basic mode) and Timeline (separate feature subscription) in the Tablet application.
Click

Editing a Category
To edit an entry, click on the
button.
Make your changes, and click save.
Entries can be made inactive and sent to the inactive list by clicking the
button.

Clicking the
will open up the entry to allow access to relational properties. There are two tabs to view,

Activities tab
On the Activities tab is a list of all primary production Activities (those directly associated with individual Operations/Modules). Activities can also be assigned here to this particular category. (This is not the preferred way).
To assign an Activity to the currently open Category, click the
button.
Select the module based Activity
These are all the Activities tied to Modules/Operations.

Time Usage Activities tab
On this tab is a list of all activities that are not direct module production activities that are assigned to the Category.
New Time Usage Activities can be created and assigned to this open Category by clicking the
button.
Give it a name.
Choose either None or Equipment in the Object Type.
None means the Activity choice is available at all times.
Equipment means the Activity choice is only available if Equipment use has been recorded in the tablet use session (i.e. a min of 1 prestart has been done during the tablet user session). This option just helps minimise Activity choices available to tablet users.

It is possible to export any of these lists to a spreadsheet csv document by clicking on the
button. A csv file will be created and sent to your windows Downloads folder.
